As experts in the field of building envelope forensic investigation, BE-CI utilizes Structural Load Tests and ASTM Test protocols for pressure testing of windows and doors to supplement our investigations. In addition, we maintain state of the art Thermography equipment that allows us to perform fast, efficient, and non-destructive moisture intrusion investigations. We utilize FLIR infrared equipment with trained and certified operators. As with any type of field testing or use of complex technical equipment, our engineers and technicians must be thoroughly trained to recognize and understand the construction of the components they are analyzing, as well as to know the acceptable performance levels of each.
BE-CI provides engineers and roof technicians that are certified as Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) and Registered Roof Observers (RRO) by the Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, and Building Envelope Professionals. These specially trained engineers will take your project from plans and specifications through observations during construction. During the observation phase, we will use our state of the art thermal imaging equipment to identify problem areas without destructive testing or costly demolition. Long after construction, when utilized for 3rd party annual inspections, BE-CI can monitor the performance of your roof, allowing us to advise and prepare warranty claims, as well as recommend timely actions that may extend your warranty protection an additional 10 years or more.
