BE-CI ENGINEERS RAPPELLING

BE-CI Engineers from both the Destin. Florida office and the Houston, Texas office have received training and equipment that allows them to get close and personal with the problems and anomalies associated with high rise buildings.

This special advantage of quick and economical access to the outer envelope of high rise construction has allowed our engineers to make detailed visual observations as well as take digital photographs, infrared images and conduct limited testing of sealants, coatings, and claddings for moisture intrusion problems. These first hand observations and test results have added new detail and factual deminsion to our written reports and recommendations for restoration.

Most high rise construction is turned over to the owners without a final close up inspection of the exterior envelope of the building where the majority of the moisture intrusion problems originate. As experts in the components that provide the first line of protection from the elements, BE-CI has made rappelling a vital part of the training program for our new engineers.
